Ready for Departure? A sneak peak of the Musée Aeroscopia (Aerospace Museum) in Toulouse France

As a space and aviation nerd, I had to stop and visit the local Musée Aeroscopia (Aerospace Museum) located in Blagnac France, located in the Toulouse Metro. This Museum captures some historic aircraft, especially since Airbus’s main office is also located in Blagnac France. The museum is very closely located next to the airport. There is some iconic airplanes located at this museum and worth the stop.

On the way in there is an Airbus A400M.

I love this photo, just wish it wasn’t so cloudy that day.

Here is a Concorde aircraft, they are now retired, but if you don’t know the history around them I suggest checking out a video or book on them. The concorde was an engineering feat that pushed commercial air travel into supersonic speeds. According to the website this one is called Fox Charlie

The second concorde was located inside the building. You then could walk through the airplane. The windows were so small compared to modern day air travel.

Who doesn’t love legos? Airbus A380 made out of legos!

Here is the Super Guppy, the nose of the aircraft would swing open to allow loading of large items to be flown around the world. I need to do more research on the history of this aircraft, as its livery says Airbus, but their wiki page talks about it being developed from an Boeing 377.

There are some other smaller exhibits here that are also worth seeing. I recommend visiting the Museum if you like airplanes or museums in general.
