In my last OPNsense post about building your own router/firewall, I mentioned that the installation process is pretty straightforward, especially if you’ve worked with open-source network tools before. One common hiccup is figuring out the default login credentials when you first go to sign in.
Web Interface (default IP: 192.168.1.1)
- Username: root
- Password : opnsense
Once you’re past that login and configuration setup, the remaining process should be smooth, best of luck!
