The Shelby Heritage Center shares the story of Carroll Shelby and showcases around 25 cars all while getting a preview into their 150,000 sq ft production facility. You can do self guided tours or upgrade to a VIP tour and shop Carroll Shelby Store.
Directions
The Shelby Heritage Center is located south on the Las Vegas Strip by about 2 miles, near the airport
- If you have a rental car you can drive here, they have a large parking lot
- Take an Uber
- Take the Las Vegas Deuce bus get off at the SB Las Vegas before sunset stop and walk the last .5 miles (what we did)
Self guided tour vs VIP tour
We were originally going to sign up for the VIP tour, but it was sold out for the next time slot, so we decided to take a peak around and do the self guided tour. I am glad we went with this option, as it cost $59 per adult. It looked like the VIP tour walked around the show room and then got a short tour of the production facility. Having worked around cars most of my life, seeing the production floor would be unique, its nothing new to me. I probably missed out on a few facts, but sure I could find a few youtube videos if I wanted to learn more.

GT40 – There wasn’t any information to state if these were replicas from the Ford vs Ferrari movie or actual cars. I like these cars more and more as I have gotten older, understanding their history and just how amazing of a car they were for their times.
