I installed my first screen door today. Started off by putting down all the seats in the Benz, went to Menards, shoved it in the car, because it barely fit, and brought it home… I didn’t start unboxing the door until 3:30, and finished about 7:30. Something that should be started earlier then 3:30 in the winter, when it gets dark at 5. I didn’t realize that I would be drilling that much, and my drill battery couldn’t handle it, so had to make a stop at Walmart and get a drill. But now that I am finally done, except I need to add the hydraulic yet… Figured that can wait until tomorrow. In all it was a fun experience, cant wait to start the basement.

Just thought I would say Hi. Not much going on here other then a little snow. Its suppose to snow/sleet/ice or something really bad tomorrow. Kayla got a mp3 player, maybe she should write a review about her Sansa Fuze. I got 2 more days until winter shutdown at work, Then I will have two weeks off, yippie.
My dog is officially a sissy, she will hold her paws up when outside in the snow… its funny.
I hooked up my 22 inch monitor, along side my 17inch monitor, a bit overkill for at home, but its nice.
I am contemplating graduate school from ISU. Well see how motivated I am.

So I may be a week late, but figured I would post anyway. We went back for thanksgiving, and Kayla and I separated our ways and went to our families thanksgiving. Its crazy going back, all my cousins are getting so old… and married lol. On friday and Saturday, Kayla and I went to the Bars in Yankton, SD, and meet up with an old friend of ours. Then on the way back from yankton we finished in Bloomfield, NE both nights. We also made a pit(drink) stop in Crofton, NE on Saturday. Crofton is the place were Kayla and I originally meet. It was nice to get out and enjoy some time to ourselves. I would also like to mention Kayla got trashed on Saturday, I am surprised she didn’t get the brown bottle flu. We were going to come back Saturday, but seen it was snowing, so we decided to stay another day. Well it was a horrible drive. The interstate was covered in ICE from Des Moines,IA to Iowa City, IA. Slow and steady and we made it… but seen to many cars in the ditch for my liking. We did stop in Clive,IA for Qdoba. They have some awesome Three Cheese Queso. I had a Pork Burrito, it wasn’t as good as the burritos in Rapid City, SD at Qdoba, or it could be I have been eating Panchero’s Burritos. So yeah… that was my crazy Thanksgiving weekend.
Oh what a crazy and great halloween. We carved pumpkins, and I made a puking pumpkin, I thought it turned out good.

Wow times have been crazy, The Dow dropped how many points last week, then went up over 900 today… The only benefit I have seen out of this crazyness, is the price of gas dropping, its 2.89 now, atleast here in Iowa. Another 21 days or so, and the presidental election will be over, which I am sure we will all be glad to find out if our favorite candiate was elected. OH and Kayla thinks she needs a new computer… but I think she just needs to install linux on it. She also think she needs a Wii, I dont think I can waste my money on it again. She wants We Cheer, a cheerleading game. I think the real reason she wants the game, is to she relive her high school days. She claims she like to dance. This will be left as an unanswered question.

Alright so I was just writing on how I want a new phone, and I go ahead and read googles newest blog post.. ( http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/future-of-mobile.html ) which talks about how much the phone has advanced. The article is kind of interesting because it goes on to talk about what they can do… but it mentions of nothing of what google is going to do? Does this have to do with anything with the Android Developers kit for mobile phones? Well the reason I bring that ip, is because … there has been reports of t-mobile releasing the first phone with Googles Android SDK developers kit on it September 23. There has been many names for the phone.. G1, or gphone. I have verizon and I want a smartphone, but what I really want is something that more advanced such as what verizon promised last year… a open platform. A phone that allows any developer to write code for it, which basicly implies I want the google android kit for Verizon.
Its the fricken weekend baby… I am glad the work week is over… Been so busy. Now this weekend we are having a garage sale. One mans junk is another mans treasure.. My Remote control car stopped working, I think the battery charger died, means more money I have to spend, I am sure the wife will like that.
My phone renewel is coming up, and I want a smart phone with Wi-Fi. I wish the wife agreed on that. This is the picture of one of the phones I want. Its a HTC but marketed as a verizon 6800 THe other one has been removed from the website… Maybe thats a good sign because they are going to replace it with the newer one?
Have you ever been tired, but you are to lazy to get off the computer and go to bed…? Well thats me, my eyes burn because they are tired but I Dont want to go to bed yet lol. Whats happen? Well a new series of tv shows are about to start or started, while the summer shows are finishing.
I watched Big Brother tonight and Dan was voted to be the winner… if you never have watched Big Brother 10 ignore that last sentance. Fringe from Fox looks to be pretty good, I watched the first episode but didnt watch the latest tonight. Someone mention fringe is kind of like x-files which in a way it was. Heroes and The Big Bang Theory starts next week. I am super excited for heroes, I might have to go watch the recap so I remember whats going on. Then I also watch Battlestar Gallatica, I am currently watching the dvds and I am on season 2.5 which I may add is awesome. If your into scifi and have not watch BSG your missing alot.
I suppose my time has been overspent here, and I need some sleep, something about the body wont function without? I cant wait for a way so I can do something 24/7 without sleeping! But thats another blog post…
